Responsibilities

This firm is seeking an associate with 3+ years of commercial real estate experience to support acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing transactions. Qualifications

This individual will support a team that advises national and regional health plans, particularly in their contracting relationships with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and other pharmaceutical supply chain vendors. J&R Ross Agency, LLC, a professional legal recruiting firm is seeking an associate with 3+ years of employment law experience to join our client's team in San Diego. Responsibilities will include working on all aspects of employment litigation (e.g., discrimination, leave, wage and hour, non-compete and breach of contract matters), everyday employment and HR-related counseling, drafting of employment-related policies and agreements, and conducting investigations and trainings.

Collaboration with team members is an important component of this role. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm’s published guidelines.

Salary: $260,000 to $390,000

Qualifications

  • Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Must be admitted or eligible for admission in California
  • At least three years of employment law experience
  • Employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
  • Advising employers on employment-related compliance matters
  • Drafting employment policies and employment-related agreements, including employee handbooks, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Conducting investigations
  • Delivering employment-related compliance training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized and exercise attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
