Responsibilities

Law firm is seeking a special counsel with 7+ years of experience to join our litigation team in New York or Washington, DC. Candidates should have an interest in working on insurance and reinsurance disputes and developing pretrial and trial practice. Responsibilities include drafting of complex submissions, preparation of witnesses, expert discovery and trial practice. Many of these disputes are tried in an arbitral setting, which requires advocacy skills. Candidates must be comfortable growing into a role where they will be given significant responsibility. Please note this is a senior off-track position.
