The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $390,000. This position is bonus eligible includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position can be located in California, Massachusetts, New York or Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Law firm is seeking an associate with 3+ years of patent litigation experience and a technology or life sciences background. Responsibilities include preparation and trial of patent matters, Markman hearings, technical analysis of products and patents, discovery preparation and management, working with experts, conducting and defending depositions, and drafting pleadings and motions.

Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts, New York or Washington, DC
• Patent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade Commission
• A technology background in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
• A life sciences background in biology, immunology, biochemistry or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
• Professionalism in engaging with clients
• Ability to stay organized and exercise attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $260,000. This position is bonus eligible and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Law firm is seeking an associate with 2+ years of experience to join our high-profile litigation team in California. Candidates should have a comprehensive complex litigation skill set and should be experienced in legal research, brief-writing, running document production, and discovery. We’re looking for a key team player who will support the growth of the practice, contribute to articles, attend speaking engagements, and participate in other client development activities.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission in California
• Must have 2+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities
• Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
