We are a respected medical malpractice defense firm seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload from intake through resolution while working alongside a collaborative team of partners, nurses, paralegals, and support staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently manage an active litigation caseload from start to finish
  • Track and meet all case deadlines (answers, discovery, motions, court schedules)
  • Draft and finalize pleadings, discovery, and motions
  • Take and defend depositions; prepare detailed reports and case evaluations
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist in case strategy
  • Review and analyze medical records with support from nursing staff
  • Collaborate with paralegals and staff to ensure efficient case progression
  • Prepare for trial, including exhibits, witnesses, and trial notebooks
  • Attend and participate in trial proceedings
  • Meet billable requirement of 1,950 hours annually (162.5/month)

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience (defense side)
  • Active, in-good-standing Georgia Bar License
  • Strong experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, and court appearances

Key Responsibilities
