About the Opportunity
We are a fast-growing, entrepreneurial law firm focused on helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and investors build, protect, and scale successful companies.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Corporate Attorney to join our thriving Corporate Law practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who enjoys working closely with business owners, providing strategic legal guidance, and navigating complex corporate transactions. You will collaborate with partners, attorneys, and staff to deliver practical, business-focused solutions while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business clients on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters
- Structure, negotiate, and draft agreements related to business formation, governance, and operations
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and strategic transactions
- Draft and review corporate documents, including:
- Operating agreements
- Shareholder agreements
- Buy-sell agreements
- Partnership agreements
- Provide legal counsel on corporate compliance, risk management, and governance matters
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys on complex transactions and client matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts
- Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- 8+ years of corporate law experience, preferably in a law firm environment
- Strong experience in:
- Business transactions
- Entity structuring
- Contract negotiation
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters with strong attention to detail
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to deliver practical legal solutions
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive and based on experience
- Quarterly Bonus Potential: 3%–16% of total realized revenue (no billable hour requirement)
