Lateral Associate – Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort

J&R Ross Agency, LLC, a professional legal recruiting firm, is seeking a Lateral Associate – Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort in Washington, D.C. This role is a perfect fit for an experienced attorney who is interested in joining an established law firm’s team. In addition, the firm also handles securities litigation, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, finance and labor and employment cases.

Salary Range: $260,000 and $420,000

• Law school classes 2018-2022 with experience in environmental litigation matters (civil preferred) at the federal level
• An ideal candidate has government-side enforcement experience related to environmental or similar issues
• A keen ability to analyze complex and technical regulatory schemes
• General understanding of enforcement approaches used by federal agencies and/or the Department of Justice to enforce federal environmental requirements
• Strong foundation in environmental and administrative law concepts
• The role is expected to provide for direct client contact and requires independence and an ability to manage and complete projects with minimal direct supervision
• Candidates must be self-starters who have strong academic credentials and research and writing skills
