Insurance Defense/Coverage Attorney

J&R Ross Agency, LLC, a professional legal recruiting firm, is seeking a Insurance Defense/Coverage Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is a perfect fit for an experienced attorney who is interested in joining an established law insurance defense team. In addition, the firm also handles family law, construction, bankruptcy and insurance coverage cases.

Salary Range: Up to $112,000

We are looking for:

The ideal insurance coverage candidate would possess some experience in reviewing and analyzing insurance coverage issues pertaining to personal lines, commercial general liability, and specialty lines policies, along with experience in coverage/bad faith litigation, and would have some exposure to insurance coverage issues.

In addition, the ideal insurance defense candidates would possess some experience in handling third-party tort matters, including auto, trucking, dram shop, product and premises liability cases, construction defect matters, and the defense of state and municipal entities.

The ideal candidates should have the following additional experience:

• Top 20% of law school class
• 0-5 years of experience
• Law review and/or moot court experience
• At least one year of civil litigation experience in public or private practice
• Currently licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and writing
• Detail oriented
• Some deposition or courtroom experience
• Proficient in Westlaw, Word, Outlook and Excel
