Lateral Associate – Corporate – M&A/Private Equity

J&R Ross Agency, LLC, a professional legal recruiting firm, is seeking a Corporate – M&A/Private Equity Attorney. This role is a perfect fit for an experienced attorney who is interested in joining an established law firm’s M&A and Private Equity teams. In addition, the firm also handles securities litigation, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, finance and labor and employment cases.

Salary Range: $310,000 and $420,000

We are looking for:

• Law school class years 2018 to 2021 to join M&A and Private Equity teams
• Advise corporate clients and private equity funds in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, other similar transactions and general corporate matters
•  Significant experience handling M&A transactions, a good understanding of corporate law and market terms and substantial experience in drafting transaction documents and effective deal management
• Driven personality, business development-oriented mindset, and ability to take on high level of responsibilities and work with autonomy are key
• The role is expected to have significant direct client contact and will offer a great opportunity for entrepreneurial associates to develop relationships with clients and manage matters with a high degree of independence
