J&R Ross Agency, L.L.C., a professional staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Coordinator. The Senior Benefit Coordinator will be trained in all program and management levels of the organization as part of succession management planning. This position will include direct leadership responsibilities for all Trust Fund operations within the organization.

Duties:

  • Under the direction of the Assistant Administrator, gain a working knowledge of trust fund policies and operating procedures regarding Welfare Fund, Pension Fund, Benefits Eligibility, and Container Royalty Fund while providing such services to members and participants.
  • Under the direction of the Fund Administrator, obtain a working knowledge of Man Hours Collections and Tracking, Exception/Reconciliation Reporting functions in all IT systems. In addition work with Fund Office IT consultants as well as Fund Administration consultants regarding programs and services.
  • Manage migration of Pension, Welfare and Protected Health Information (PHI) paper files into IMS and SIMPAL Computer systems.
  • Manage the Document Retention Policy

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Senior Benefit Coordinator is expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday and will observe the paid holiday schedule.
  • Senior Benefit Coordinator is expected to submit timesheets on a bi-weekly basis to the Fund Office accounting department to receive bi-weekly compensation.

Other Duties

  • Senior Benefit Coordinator may be subject to other duties as assigned by the Fund Administrator.
