Position responsibilities include:

  • Manage GA office, including but not limited, the GA team, clients, and the day-to-day ongoings of the office
  • Reviewing closing documents for accuracy and legal sufficiency
  • Representing lenders, buyers and sellers in real estate closings
  • Interacting with clients and other industry professionals
  • Performing and reviewing title searches
  • Preparing and certifying title insurance policies

  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia
  • Must be approved with all major Title Insurance Companies
  • Hold a current appointment as a GA Notary Public
  • Must be comfortable interacting with clients tactfully in high-pressure customer service situations
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Your Role:

  • Proactively perform deep diagnostic trouble shooting to identify, communicate and drive resolution on issues
  • Communicate status to management and help keep business stakeholders informed of project status and all related issues
  • Make process and systems improvement recommendations to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences
  • Collaborate closely with and assist application development teams when required to ensure timely delivery of system fixes
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, activities or projects as required
  • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of DealShield’s applications, customers and business units
  • Manage individual work load and assist with defining and prioritizing one’s own tasks
  • Conduct analysis of support issues that identifies current state business process or system inadequacies
  • Manage ticket entry, escalation, and dispatch of support issues
  • Escalate issues to Engineering as necessary
  • Ability to understand data models, and write complex SQL queries against the data model

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering; or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years experience troubleshooting or supporting web based applications

  • 3+ years experience with databases and database query tools (MySQL, DB/2, PostgreSQL)
  • Availability for on-call support during evening hours (approximately 15%)
  • Experience with relevant business software, including Microsoft Office applications i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
  • Experience with the following technology areas: MySQL, DB/2, PostgresSQL, Ruby, SAS, UNIX, OSX
