We are a fast-growing, collaborative law firm with a dynamic Employment Law Practice Group. Due to increased demand for employment counsel, corporate advisory work, and workplace policy development, we are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team.
This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys client advising, compliance work, and hands-on legal exposure across a wide range of employment matters in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
🧑⚖️ What You’ll Do
📌 Advise & Counsel
- Provide guidance on employment law compliance, HR best practices, and risk mitigation
- Review and advise on pre-litigation matters and severance agreements
📝 Drafting & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate:
- Employment agreements
- Severance packages
- Workplace policies and procedures
📚 Compliance & Policy Leadership
- Lead and support employee handbook development, updates, and implementation
- Assist clients with ongoing compliance strategies
🏢 Corporate & Transactional Support
- Support M&A due diligence with employment-related reviews and risk analysis
⚖️ Litigation Support
- Assist with:
- Legal research and memoranda
- Pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and client meetings
🔍 Investigations & Audits
- Conduct and support workplace investigations
- Perform employment audits and compliance reviews
🤝 Collaboration
- Partner with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 0–5 years of experience in employment law (litigation experience a plus, not required)
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Colorado (required)
- Strong skills in:
- Legal research & writing
- Analytical thinking
- Client communication
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines independently
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

💰 Compensation
- Base Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
- Quarterly Bonus Potential: 3%–16% of total realized revenue
- No billable hour requirement — performance-based incentives
