This is a unique opportunity for a highly capable legal professional who enjoys both hands-on legal work and operational leadership. This role supports the Corporate and Advanced Tax Strategies practice groups while helping manage the day-to-day operations of our Dallas–Fort Worth office.
We are seeking someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values structure and efficiency within a legal practice. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys, coordinating office operations, and ensuring matters and workflows move forward smoothly.
The firm’s main office has already established the core operational infrastructure, including legal software, systems, and policies. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining those systems locally, ensuring the Texas office operates efficiently and consistently with firm standards.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support & Case Management
- Provide paralegal support to attorneys within Corporate and Advanced Tax Strategies
- Assist with case preparation, legal research, and drafting legal documents
- Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Maintain organized case files and document management systems
- Manage court filings, deadlines, and case calendars
- Support discovery, document review, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Corporate & Transactional Support
- Prepare governance documents (operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, resolutions, consents)
- Assist with transaction closings, including checklists, deliverables, and post-closing binders
- Support complex transactions through coordination, document review, and organization
- Maintain organizational charts and asset schedules for multi-entity client structures
Wealth Transfer & Estate Planning Support
- Assist in preparing trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, assignments, and related documents
- Coordinate trust funding and ownership transfers
- Support implementation of multi-generational wealth transfer strategies
Client & Advisor Coordination
- Communicate with clients, family offices, CPAs, fiduciaries, and financial institutions
- Coordinate document execution and ensure compliance with formalities
- Prepare materials for client meetings and strategic discussions
Office Management & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the Dallas office
- Maintain matters in firm systems, ensuring accurate data and organization
- Ensure adherence to established firm procedures and workflows
- Coordinate scheduling, calendars, and meeting logistics
- Assist with billing coordination, time entry review, and file management
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while aligning with firm standards
Leadership & Team Support
- Serve as a liaison between the Texas office and the firm’s main office
- Support and guide paralegals and administrative staff as the office grows
- Assist with onboarding, training, and process improvements
- Collaborate with firm leadership to support continued growth and operational development
