We are seeking a talented Private Equity / M&A Associate to join our growing corporate practice in Boston. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions while advising leading private equity sponsors, investment funds, and portfolio companies.
Our team combines deep legal expertise with practical business judgment, helping clients navigate complex transactions and achieve strategic outcomes across a wide range of industries.
What You’ll Do
- Advise clients on a full range of private equity and M&A transactions, including:
- Acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and joint ventures
- Private equity investments and platform transactions
- Fund-related matters and sponsor-side transactions
- Work closely with private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, and financial institutions
- Support deal execution from structuring through closing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic, business-focused legal solutions
- Build strong client relationships through direct interaction and trusted advisory
What We’re Looking For
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts
- 3+ years of private equity and M&A transactional experience at a law firm
- Strong experience handling acquisitions, mergers, and related transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with approximately 60% in-office presence to support collaboration and team integration.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $260,000 – $365,000
- Bonus eligible
