J&R Ross Agency, LLC is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist for our Atlanta, GA client. This position performs billing duties according to established policies and procedures. This position will support a Practice group and several office locations. The ideal candidate must have an overall 5 years law firm experience, with a thorough knowledge of all or most eBilling software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Compiles, manages and executes attorney billing
Reviews and edits Pre-bills/Proformas in response to attorney and secretary requests
Executes complex bills in a timely manner (i.e, multiple discounts by matter, preparation of electronic invoices LEDES file)
Handles a high volume of bills per month
Effectively interacts and communicates with attorneys, secretaries and clients
Researches and responds to inquiries in a timely manner regarding billing issues and problems as they arise
Generates monthly Proformas and maintains a list of Unbilled Proformas for follow up
Assists with special projects as needed within the department

Skills & Qualifications:

Must possess 5 or more years of law firm experience
